When would I use QuickPics Photo Manager?

Anytime you want to take a pic, find a pic, edit a pic, share a pic, send a pic or save a pic to cloud storage.

You should use the QuickPics Photo Manager camera to take all of your pictures moving forward. This will allow you to immediately name/tag each pic you take.

Are photos copied to or stored in QuickPics Photo Manager?

No. QuickPics Photo Manager knows how valuable storage space is which is why unlike other apps, QuickPics Photo Manager does NOT make copies of your pics. Instead, it acts as a photo viewer connected to the native iOS Photos folder on your device; all pics are accessed from and saved to your device’s Photos folder.

What happens to my current pics in my Photo folder?

When you open Quick Pics, all pics currently on your device will automatically be archived by date making it instantly searchable and sortable. You can always add a name/tag to each pic at any future time.

Do I have to name or tag a pic(s)?

No. All pics will always be archived by the date the pic was taken. It is your choice to add a name and/or tag.

If I don’t ever want to add a name or tag to a pic, is there a benefit to purchasing QuickPics Photo Manager?

Yes! All pics are archived by date. This means that even if you never add a name/tag to a pic you will be able to use the search bar to simply type in the month, day, or year a pic was taken. As you type, all matching results will be displayed. Alternatively, you can use the drop down sort button to sort by name, tag or date in ascending/descending order.

How do I name/tag a pic?

If you take a pic using the QuickPics Photo Manager camera, you can click “Use Photo” and a pop-up will appear allowing you to name and/or tag that pic. If the pic is already in the Pic Library, you can tap under the pic to have the NAME/TAG box pop up. In the Pic Roll, if you click the pic it will open up, then on the bottom middle there will be a pencil, which will allow you to name and/or tag the pic.

How do I search for a pic?

There are 3 simple ways to search for a pic. The easiest is from the QuickPics Photo Manager search bar- start typing a pics name, tag or date and all matching pics will instantly appear below. Alternatively, you can use the drop down sort button to sort in ascending /descending order by name, tag or date. Or you can do it the traditional way, scroll and scroll through all of your pics…obviously we don’t recommend the last option!

What is the difference between naming and tagging?

QuickPics Photo Manager give you the ability to name each individual pic. Yes, name EACH pic, that is not a typo! In addition, you can add up to 5 tags to each pic. Tags act like virtual albums. In short, each pic can be only given 1 name but can be given multiple tags.

Can I give the same tag to multiple pics at the same time?

Yes! It is super simple. Select all the pics you want to tag and click the TAG button on the bottom center. A tag pop-up will appear.

How do I select multiple pics at once?

With the QuickPics Photo Manager slide selection feature, you no longer have to click each pic to select it, you can slide across multiple pics to select them. This is an awesome and efficient feature that saves you a lot of time!

What is the Auto Synch feature in the Settings?

By turning this on, every time you hit the home button, the QuickPics Photo Manager app will synch with your Photo folder. It is recommended to turn this feature off and synch by pulling down in the Pic Roll or Pic Library anytime you need to synch.

What is the # button?

This shows you all of the tags you are currently using and all of the pics associated with that tag.

What happens when I take a pic with the QuickPics Photo Manager Camera?

Once a pic is taken, the pic appears with 2 buttons below it. You can “Retake” the pic or you can “Use Photo” which allows you to name it and/or tag it on the spot. In a hurry, just click save when the pop-up appears and the pic will be saved by date- go back anytime to add a name and/or tag.

How do I upload to Social Media sites?

Same way as you do within your devices Photos folder.

How do I upload to Cloud Storage?

It is super simple. Select all the pics you want to upload and click the arrow button on the bottom left. You will see the various cloud storage services available. Note: you will need a separate account with the cloud storage provider, this is not a part of QuickPics Photo Manager.

How do I insert pic(s) into email?

Same way as you do within your devices Photos folder.

How does deleting work from within Quick Pics?

If you delete a pic from within Quick Pics it will only delete any names and tags given to the pic. If you want to permanently delete a pic, you need to do that from your own devices Photos folder.

How do I insert pic(s) into a text message?

Select the pic(s) you want to text, hit the arrow bottom on the bottom left, click “Message”. Once the text message appears hold down your finger in the message area to paste the pictures into your text.

Yes! QuickPics Photo Manager is a universal app, so you only need to purchase it once to use it on both your iPhone and iPad.

How Does iCloud Work?

You can save pics to iCloud then view those pics in the QuickPics Photo Manager app on any other iOS device with the same iCloud account. Just go to Settings and click iCloud Images.

How Do I Save Pics to Another Dropbox Account?

You will need to login to your current Dropbox account from any web browser. Go to Settings then Security. Under Apps Linked, you will need to delete the QuickPics Photo Manager App. Next time you are in QuickPics Photo Manager it will allow you to log-in to your new Dropbox account.

Is QuickPics Photo Manager on Android?
